Look closely, and you can see some evidence that my favorite golf course was completely submerged just a few weeks ago. But things are definitely looking up at Aberdeen today.
Pentecost looms. Which means it’s been 50 days since I heard the words uttered near the beginning of the Easter Vigil Mass…and still, I can’t get them out of my mind.
Several days later, my body’s still barking from the home-improvement project I tackled earlier this week. Yes, the time had come once again to stain the deck.
I find it very interesting that it’s not only Jesus who promises to send us the Spirit.
It’s almost over. Easter season, that is. Which, to my brain at least, qualifies as a bit of surprise.
There are times when it’s tough to figure out what God is telling you.
